About the attraction
The British Music Experience is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of popular music in Britain. Using state of the art interactives and iconic memorabilia you can explore how rock, pop, dance and other genres were formed and have influenced the last sixty years of British society and culture.
From the era-defining sounds of The Beatles, Dusty Springfield and David Bowie to stadium-filling giants like The Who and Queen right up to recent crowd-pleasers such as Oasis, Amy Winehouse and Dizzee Rascal, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
