Just across the Channel and a short drive from the Port of Calais and the Eurotunnel terminal you will find the largest shopping complex in Northern France…Cité Europe.

The centre boasts 140 shops, 15 restaurants and a 10-pin bowling complex all under one roof. Visitors can enjoy an extensive range of top quality shops, including ladies and gents fashion, children’s clothes & toys, housewares, gifts, perfumes and sports equipment. The massive Carrefour hypermarket is a big attraction offering all the usual French and international produce, plus a vast selection of wines, beers and spirits from around the World. Added to this are many famous French shops, plus well-known UK brands such as, C&A, The Disney Store and Toys r Us.

Foodies have not been forgotten either with 15 restaurants on-site, catering for all tastes and budgets. For “food on the move” McDonalds is on hand, or try something more French and take lunch at Flunch…just like the locals! For those wanting a more leisurely meal, you can choose from a traditional style French Brasserie, maybe Italian or even Chinese – there’s something for everyone.

Cité Europe welcomes Groups. There is a dedicated 50-bay parking area and bi-lingual staff are on hand to meet and greet coach parties. Coach drivers’ aren’t forgotten either.

Within the centre they have their own area comprising lounge with TV, dining space, washing and shower facilities.

Cité Europe is located next door to the Eurotunnel terminal, off junction 43 or 41 off the A16 Motorway. Shops are open Monday to Saturday, closing at 8.00pm (except Friday, until 9pm) and the Carrefour hypermarket closes at 10pm. The food area, Cité Gourmande, is open 10am-10pm daily, including Sundays.

Here you will find over 80 shops selling original merchandise from leading brand names at hugely discounted prices. Fashion, lingerie, travel goods, sportswear, outdoor and leisure gear can all be found here and the savings are amazing.

Opening Times

Shops are open Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 closing at 20:00 (except Friday, until 21:00) and the Carrefour hypermarket closes at 10pm. The food area, CitéGourmande, is open 10am-10pm daily, including Sundays.
