Hill Close Gardens are a group of sixteen restored Victorian hedged gardens with delightful brick summerhouses overlooking Warwick racecourse. The gardens were used by townsfolk who wanted to escape from the crowded town centre.
Visiting gardens makes a perfect day out in Warwick which is an historic town full of interesting hidden gardens. Start at Hill Close off Friars Street where there is ample parking and go on to the Lord Leycester Hospital nearby and Mill Street Gardens by the walls of Warwick Castle.
Hill Close is an attraction with much to offer:
