From the moment you step inside this outstanding new London museum the journey of discovery begins. The museum offers a unique and celebratory experience, inviting you to explore Jewish life and history as part of the wider story of Britain.
Set against a spacious and modern architectural backdrop, discover one of the world’s finest collection of Jewish ceremonial art – such as the rare and beautiful torah scrolls made by King George III’s silversmith, as well as a 13th century medieval ritual bath on show for the first time since its discovery in the City of London 2001.
Become part of the story with superb hands-on interactives. There is something for all the family – whether you fancy yourself as a champion Yiddish Karaoke singer; want to join a Friday night dinner; play the great migration game or pose a question in our ‘ask the Rabbi’ interactive.
There is also an outstanding programme of changing temporary exhibitions.
