First adapted for royal residence in 1689 by Sir Christopher Wren, Kensington Palace has been host to the courts of William 3rd and Mary 2nd, Queen Anne, George Ist and George 2nd.

In recent & past times the palace has been a much loved home for members of the royal family including Princess Margaret and Diana, Princess of Wales, both of whom have played their part in transforming Kensington into a fashionable residence.

Explore the magnificent State Apartments, including the Cupola Room where Queen Victoria was christened, and the Victorian Rooms where the future Queen Victoria spent her younger years.
