All ages can experience a great day out at Milestones Museum, Hampshire’s award winning living history museum based in Basingstoke.
You can explore a network of full size streets set inside an easily accessible purpose built museum. There are period shops you can walk into such as a 1940’s sweet shop, gramophone shop, cycle shop and more. Children can enjoy the play post office (for under 5’s) and the dressing up tent. Throughout the museum you can see vintage vehicles, a steam engine on static display and even a working pub, all dating from late Victorian era to 1945.
Check notice boards on the day of your visit for times of our costumed interpreter’s presentations. Wheelchairs and Motorised scooters available to hire.
