The National Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, Cornwall is the UK National Rescue Centre for Seals. Here, you’ll discover our resident animals and hear their stories. Meet our Seals, Patagonian Sea Lions, Penguins and other fascinating creatures, even juggling Otters! Not only that, you can also visit our paddocks, where you’ll discover our resident ponies, goats and sheep! Take a walk through our enchanted woodland to spot local wildlife and talk with our animal experts to learn more!

We want our visitors to leave the Sanctuary with the same enthusiasm for the rescue and rehabilitation of marine animals that we have. Our daily talks and feeding demonstrations, not to mention our interactive rock pool experience will supply you with hands on learning experience in a fun and dynamic environment.

All this fun is thirsty work, so why not stop by our newly refurbished café for a light bite and refreshments. The National Seal Sanctuary in Gweek is one of Cornwall’s best kept secrets well worth discovering!
