If you are looking for what to do in Shropshire, the award winning Royal Air Force Museum Cosford is home to over 70 aircraft displayed in wartime hangars on an active airfield. The iconic National Cold War Exhibition displays aircraft suspended in flying attitudes and tells the story of the Cold War in an innovative way. The museum is home to the world’s oldest Spitfire and is the only place in the UK where you can see Britain’s three V Bombers – the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant.
Free admission ensures the RAF Museum is a great day out for the whole family. Things to do during a visit include audio visual ‘hotspot’ presentations; refuel restaurant, fun n flight interactive gallery, souvenir gift shop and flight simulator. See the website for our annual events calendar.
