Shepherd Neame is Britain’s oldest brewer with a range of high quality hotels and inns across the South East, many of which have undergone extensive refurbishment recently and all offering excellent accommodation and fine dining.
The historic Royal Albion hotel enjoys a commanding position overlooking Broadstairs’ Viking Bay. The Shepherd Neame Pub of the Year recently benefited from a £1m refurbishment to its 21 en-suite bedrooms, coffee lounge, bar and the creation of a new dining room and kitchen.
The Conningbrook in Ashford has 29 en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant, bar and attractive garden. The restaurant offers a range local produce with a variety of daily specials and classic dishes.
The George Hotel in Cranbrook High Street dates from the 14th century and was visited by Queen Elizabeth I in 1573. The hotel now boasts 12 rooms offering a blend of period and contemporary style.
A relaxed welcome combines with an historic background at The Millers Arms in Canterbury. The 11 en-suite bedrooms provide guests with a perfect base from which to tour the city, before returning to enjoy the bar’s range of wines and Shepherd Neame ales and locally sourced food.
The Marine Hotel in Tankerton offers 31 en-suite bedrooms, with a sea view from 20 of the stylish rooms.
The Royal Hotel lies on the seafront of Deal, making it an ideal venue to make the most of the town. The early 18th century hotel – visited by Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton - is ideally situated to make the most of the nearby golf courses.
Shepherd Neame also runs a successful visitor centre, which provides tours of the brewery in Faversham.
