The Swindon and Cricklade Railway, Wiltshire’s only standard gauge Heritage line, runs through picturesque North Wiltshire, using both steam and diesel hauled trains.
Having increased the useable length of track to almost two miles in 2010, the railway is in expansion mode, hoping to increase to about 2.5 miles long during 2011.
The Railway is available for private hire for receptions, parties, or meetings, in the static Norwegian carriage, or with a privately hired train, which may include the “Moonraker” carriage for catering.
The Railway is also licensed/registered for civil weddings, to provide a novel and interesting venue, with all the quality and dignity such a ceremony deserves.
