More than simply an historic house and garden in Somerset, this splendid medieval Palace has been the home of the Bishops of Bath and Wells for 800 years.
There are 14 acres of gardens including the springs from which the city takes its name.
Visitors can also see the Bishop's private Chapel, ruined Great Hall and the Gatehouse with portcullis and drawbridge beside which the famous mute swans ring a bell for food.
- All activities and events are included in the price of admission unless stated otherwise and children must be accompanied by an adult
- Daily guided tours at 11.30am
- Garden tours – Weekdays at 2.30pm
- Water wheel demonstrations – Wednesday 2pm – 4pm
- Children’s trails are available.
