WWT London Wetland Centre is a lush green oasis, just ten minutes from Hammersmith tube.  Set on the banks of the Thames its a great place to unwind with a stroll along the scenic walkways through the lakes, pools, meadows and gardens.

This 105 acre wildlife reserve is home to a wide range of animals such as ducks, geese and wading birds, water voles, dragonflies and bats.  There are six hides dotted around the grounds where you can watch wildlife close up plus a collection of beautiful water birds from around the world, bred for conservation purposes.  During autumn and winter you can enjoy the spectacle of hundreds of birds who spend the winter here, or in spring and summer wander the gardens and pathways through a blaze of colourful flowers and shrubs.

It's also the perfect place for the kids to let off steam with a couple of adventure play areas plus a high-tech Pond Zone.  Every weekend and during school holidays there are a wide range of children's activities to keep them amused.

Relax in the Waters Edge cafe over a coffee or lunch.  Or come on a guided tour of the centre to learn more about its history and the wildlife highlights.
