Slimbridge Wetland Centre is home to an astounding array of wildlife including the world's largest collection of swans, geese, and ducks.

A year round programme of walks, arts, events, workshops, talks and spectacular wildlife encounters are a fantastic way for everyone to connect to their natural surroundings.

On your trip you will see many beautiful birds around our grounds, some of which can be hand fed. Slimbridge Wetland Centre is the only place in the world where you can see all six species of flamingo.

Families may also enjoy visiting our outdoor wetland playground Welly Boot Land, seeing the tame ducks in our new attraction Puddleduck Corner (opened Easter 2010) or colouring and activities in our discovery centre.

Also around the grounds is the tropical house full of colourful birds and fish, a canoe safari and otters, a beaver and water voles in our wetland mammal exhibit.

Once you are ready to head back you can relax in our Water’s Edge restaurant which overlooks the Caribbean flamingos.
