Yesterdays World is a museum attraction located in the historic market town of Battle right in the heart of 1066 country. Perfect for couples, families, and groups alike.

Our award winning attraction recaptures Britain’s amazing past using beautifully recreated life-size street scenes and shop displays. Yesterday’s World is considered to be one of the best social history collections in the UK. Discover over 150,000 nostalgic artefacts plus virtual and interactive exhibits with evocative sounds and smells.

Our charming 1920 style tea room and terrace offers delicious naughty but nice treats. The terrace has fantastic views over the rolling Sussex countryside. Children will love exploring our miniature play village and activity area situated in our beautiful secure gardens.
