Bolebroke Castle is the 15th century hunting lodge where Henry 8th came for hunting wild boar, venison and for a wife Anne Boleyn who lived at nearby Hever.

The year is 1528. Experience the audio tour bringing Henrys courting to life. Come for a day and see the Kings Bedchamber, the secret priest hole and the second largest fireplace in England. Or stay overnight B&B in the castle and enjoy the stunningly beautiful, tranquil location of lakes and natural woodlands where pheasant and deer roam.

Each season provides its own beauty - in springtime the carpets of daffodils and bulbs, the rhododendrons of May & June, the mantles of water lilies on the lakes in July & August and the turning of the Virginia creeper to red on the castle and the autumn tints of September & October.

The castle was recently used for the film 'The Other Boleyn Girl' – and is a ‘must see’ attraction for the whole family.
