Encounter the exotic and experience a wild family day out in South Yorkshire at Sheffield’s Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre.
Get close to free-flying butterflies and birds, as well as friendly, free-roaming farm animals. Meet the residents of Meerkat Mansion, handle exotic snakes, see magnificent birds of prey and feed marmoset monkeys, lorikeets and many more amazing creatures.
Relax in the new café and conservatory while the kids dig in the sandpit, take to the wheel of a pedal car or whiz along the aerial glide. At weekends and during school holidays, hitch a ride aboard the tractor-trailer. Family events, activities and demonstrations run throughout the year.
The Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre is open daily and, located just 5 minutes from the M1, junction 31, is easy to get to from Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, North Notts and North West Lincolnshire.
