A visit to Leeds Castle in the heart of the Kent countryside is full of discovery. With almost 1,000 years of fascinating history, the castle has been a Norman stronghold, a royal residence for six medieval queens of England, a favourite palace of Henry VIII and a grand country house.
Its blend of history and heritage, glorious gardens, aviary and birds of prey, maze and grotto, dog collar museum, children’s playground, gift shops and licensed restaurant make it the perfect choice for a day out for visitors of all ages.
Every “Key to the Castle” ticket grants admission to the castle and grounds for one year from the date of purchase, enabling visitors to pay once and visit all year round.
New for 2010: The World of Wings free-flying bird show will replace the daily falconry display in spring 2010. The exciting new live show features a variety of birds including formation flying storks and a bald eagle.
