Sculpture at Goodnestone Park Gardens

Goodnestone Park House, Goodnestone, Kent CT3 1PL

1st August - 31st October

At Goodnestone Park we are delighted to present two complementary strands of contemporary art in 2025 – an exhibition in the gallery and a new programme of sculpture in the gardens.

Time Served by Joseph Clarke
15th August – 31st October 2025
Goodnestone Contemporary
Joseph Clarke’s Time Served is a personal and material study on labour, endurance, and repetition. Continuing his exploration of absence, displacement, and architectural trace, this exhibition sharpens these themes through the lens of familial experience.

Sculpture in the Gardens
15th July – 31st October 2025
We are also excited to introduce a new outdoor exhibition of contemporary sculpture, thoughtfully placed in dialogue with the estate’s historic gardens. Bold, diverse, and thought-provoking works by multiple artists will be sited in two unique spaces – the Gravel Garden and the Golden Arboretum – encouraging visitors to see the landscape through a fresh artistic lens. Each piece has been sensitively positioned in collaboration with Head Gardener Paul Bagshaw, ensuring the works resonate with the rhythms of the land, the seasons, and the visitor experience.

Access to both these events is included in your general admission price.
