Helmingham Hall’s Illuminated Garden Trail is an award-winning winter experience that transforms the historic gardens into a mile-long journey of light, colour and sound.
Visitors cross the iconic drawbridge and wander through glowing borders, reflections on the moat and magical installations that highlight the Hall’s natural beauty.
Along the way, guests can enjoy toasting marshmallows around fire pits, sip complimentary mulled wine, and explore festive stalls and street food in the courtyard. Blending history, artistry and atmosphere, it’s a captivating celebration of the season that has become one of Suffolk’s most enchanting Christmas traditions.
Opening Times
From 14th November until the 19th December
In November the trail will be open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
In December the trail runs each day.
First time slots are from 4.30pm, final entry slots vary by day.
