The Florence Nightingale Museum celebrates the life and work of the best known figure in nursing history.
It houses one of the largest collections of objects relating to ‘the Lady with the Lamp’ herself.
Meet Nightingales most peculiar pet, see her fanoos (the iconic lantern), and learn about how she set up the first nurse training school of its kind in England.
Discover more about her reform work modelled around evidence based healthcare and about the Victorian Era as a whole.
Explore our permanent exhibition, along with two rotating temporary exhibitions.
