BRAGGING RIGHTS! This event is a team meeting for bangers but unlike a normal team event where drivers normally choose who to race with, this event sees two teams in action with drivers either in Team East Anglia or Team The Rest!
It could see friends pitted against each other and enemies having to work together to ensure success!
From the small, but big on action Micro class through the fast and furious 1600cc Bangers to the big and bad 2Litre Bangers! With points for getting the top finishes, the winning team will have to prove it has members who can win and wreck!
As well as a series of action packed racing each class will also have a Destruction Derby which means there will be no less than three “DDs” during the day – where the last car running wins!
As well as the Bangers, rounding out the day will be the armoured up Saloon Stock Cars. Shells of road cars you might be familiar with, with steel work bumpers all around. Metal clashing, fence rattling action incoming, with high impact crashes just the norm from this class. These drivers don’t hold back, and the formula is often regard as one of the best to watch here – they race for the English Championship – the fence will rattle and metal will clatter- sparks will fly!
The Spectator gate will open from 11am, first race 1pm. The arena boasts great viewing all around (plenty of under cover viewing too!), FREE on site and overflow parking, disabled viewing, licensed bars, ample food outlets and other great facilities.
Please do not park on the main road outside the Arena on race days; this is causing issues with traffic and resulting in a number of complaints. There is an onsite car park and an overflow parking field. Car parking at King’s Lynn is provided free of charge, please do use this. We would also to like ask everyone to be considerate of our neighbouring Industrial area and to park respectfully if using that space.
