Stock Car and Banger action at the Saddlebow Road venue can be dated all the way back to 1955; various promoters have held the mantle of leading Short Oval racing here; Trackstar Racing is the current Promoter and we pride ourselves in commitment to the fans and drivers in delivering the best in Short Oval Racing entertainment. An award winning promotion and venue; 2022 was a hugely successful year for us and with some massive events in 2023 – it’s going to get better!
With thirty to fifty cars on track in every race, action is guaranteed and here at the Adrian Flux Arena we encourage “full contact” where spinning and hitting other cars is all part of the racing! You will see more overtaking, smashes, crashes and action in one lap of a Stock Car Race than any other type of Motor Racing!

Many Banger events also end with a famous “Destruction Derby” where the object of winning the race is to go out and destroy the opposition – by being the last car running!
Trackstar also stage various novelty events throughout the year including 3 wheeled Reliant Robin Races, Van Banger Racing (which is destruction on a large scale), Siamese Bangers (one car on top of another!) and a Halloween Carnival night – which is locally recognised as one of the events to attend; a fancy dress parade for the kids – lots of fun for the whole family and a huge firework display!
