Africa Alive

Africa Alive, Whites Lane Kessingland, Lowestoft, NR33 7TF

Part of the Zoological Society of East Anglia, Africa Alive is the perfect place to explore some of Africa’s most iconic animals while learning about their natural instincts, habitats, and conservation.

With thousands of African animals in over 100 acres of stunning countryside, we’re keeping Africa alive in Suffolk.

The spectacular centrepiece of the reserve is the ‘Plains of Africa’ display, where you can see five species of African savanna animals roaming together, including majestic giraffes and heavyweight rhinos.

The zoo also offers a great outdoor play area, restaurants, free parking, disabled facilities, and a gift shop. And don’t miss our returning safari experience as well as many more animal experiences to get up close like never before!

At ZSEA, we can provide an alternative to the conventional corporate setting by catering for all of your corporate event needs. Educational visits and Sponsorship opportunities are always welcomed at Africa Alive as we continue to grow as a charity and look to the future.

Annual memberships for both individuals & corporate, for the combined ZSEA zoos are also available with unlimited yearly access & exclusive member events.

Book your tickets online now and start creating memories with Africa Alive Zoological Reserve.
