We’re lucky enough to have some of the world’s most magnificent ‘Big Cats’.
Are you a huge big cat lover we have Cats ranging from Snow leopards to White Lions and Tigers. So why not give our cats a visit or perhaps even feed them if your brave enough! They may look cute and cuddly but they are fierce predators, Big Cats are among the most powerful animals on the planet.

They have razor-sharp canine teeth and claws, to help them sneak up and pounce on their prey. All cats eat meat and no matter where they live, you can bet that they’ll always be top of the food chain!

Hertfordshire Zoo is Europe’s leading wildlife park for animal experiences, where visitors can meet mischievous meerkats in the ‘Meet the Meerkat’ experience or even hand feeding one of the tigers, in their ‘Big Cat Experience’.

Hertfordshire Zoo / The Zoological Society of Hertfordshire is situated 20 miles north of London, 7 miles from Junction 25 on the M25 and approximately 25 minutes from London Liverpool Street by rail.

Hertfordshire Zoo is usually open 364 days a year (Christmas day we are closed), however there may be times where the Park may close due to essential and important building work.

To avoid disappointment due to limited Visitor Numbers we strongly recommend purchasing your Day Tickets online around 3 – 7 days prior to your visit.

An additional 10% charge will be added to your tickets when purchased at the gate onsite.
