Mid-Suffolk Light Railway

Brockford Station, Hall Lane, Wetheringsett, Stowmarket, IP14 5PW

Suffolk's only standard gauge heritage railway.

Affectionately known as the Middy, the line closed in 1952. The museum opened, using a section of the old track bed, in 1991. The new MSLR now boasts a demonstration track, museum building, workshop, Restoration Shed, tea room and real ale bar.

We run steam trains most summer Sundays and bank holidays and some special events including Middy in the 1940s and Santa Specials.
