Sandwell Valley Park

Salters Lane, West Bromwich, B71 4BG

Beautiful outdoor space, bird watching and an award winning Green Flag park makes Sandwell Valley Country Park a great place to spend the day.

So many outdoor activities in one place!

The fully restored working Victoria farm features a traditional farmyard, walled kitchen gardens, a small museum and award winning tea rooms. Forge Mill Farm also has a farm shop, a small animal area, a farm trail and a children’s playground.

Or if you’re looking for something more exertive have a go on the aerial assault course! There’s also pitch and putt, crazy golf, tennis courts and football pitches for any impromptu five-a-side matches!

Finding somewhere for a quiet walk is easy in Sandwell Valley Country Park. Whether you are a keen rambler, or just want to go for a walk with the dog or family, with 660 acres to walk round, you can go for a quiet stroll in pleasant surroundings through woods, farmland and by pools and streams. Many of our footpaths are surfaced, providing access for all, though many are left as natural tracks to provide a sense of a real countryside.
