Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park

Woodsetts Road, North Anston, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S25 4EQ

Your Tropical Adventure begins here… Explore a family-run zoo with over 142 species to discover, from marvellous minibeasts and mammals to spectacular birds and beautiful butterflies.

Come and explore the new Butterfly House and immerse yourself in a tropical environment brimming with exotic plants and butterflies. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of a rainforest habitat in the Tropical Bird House, home to free-flying birds. You’ll also find armadillos and caimans, turtles and fish, snakes and spiders, lizards and frogs and much more including a new Bug House opening soon!

Amazing animal enclosures include the Wilderness Walkthrough, Lemur Heights, Otter Springs, Macaw Kingdom and Meerkat Mansion. Visitors can feed the friendly residents of the Farm Barn along with meerkats, wallabies, otters and porcupines and meet an array of animals during the daily encounters, feeds and keeper talks. Not to be missed is the Animal Antics show with fantastic free-flying birds!

Kids can go wild in the Splash Zone and Realms of Camelot play park with sandpits, zip wire and air cannons, hop on a tractor-trailer ride or quake in their boots along the Dino Trail. Plus there’s fun family-themed events every school holiday.

The wildlife park also offers Animals Experiences and Adoptions, membership and educational and group visits with coach parking available. Eateries include Lottie’s Coffee Lounge and the Butterfly Café and no trip is complete without a visit to the Jungle Gift Shop.

The Tropical Butterfly House is located just 5 minutes from the M1 junction 31.

Did you know a % of your park admission goes towards helping the Tropical Butterfly House preserve native species across the region. The park also manages over 46.5 acres of land with a sole aim to protect and manage native habitats and species – from butterflies, bees, flowers and insects to wild birds, small mammals and even red deer - so every visit helps local wildlife too!
