Firle Place is an outstanding privately owned country house in Sussex that dates from the time of Henry VIII but which was substantially remodelled during the Georgian period. Firle Place is very much a family home which provides the perfect setting to house an exemplary collection of works of art, fine furniture and porcelain of national significance.
There is a charming tea room with a terrace overlooking the fountain and extensive parkland beyond.
Firle Place has been the home of the Gage family for over 500 years. With a celebrated collection of old master paintings, porcelain and furniture, Firle Place continues to impress visitors from the moment they arrive.
