The Muckleburgh Military Collection is open from 11am every day with no booking required.
The extensive range of exhibits are informative and interesting for all the family. Tanks, Guns and Military vehicles are complimented with the History of WW1 and WW2 reflected in thousands of exhibits. They include a magnificent display of models including aircraft and ships.
Because of the requirement for Social Distancing lorry rides round the old Royal Artillery Camp and tank demonstrations have been suspended.
Visitors should allow at least two hours to see everything. The Café is open for snacks and a full meal. During August it operates the Eat Out to Help Out 50% discount scheme.
The Muckleburgh Military Collection complies with all COVID-19 guidelines. Face coverings must be worn in the Shop and are recommended elsewhere in the Museum which is regularly fogged with anti-virus chemical. All the toilets are cleaned several times each day.
There are sanitising facilities throughout the Museum and visitors are asked to observe the Social Distancing indicators.
Tables in the Café has been reduced to give extra space but there is still plenty of room for everyone. Picnics can be held outside the café giving lovely views of the North Norfolk Coast.
The young children’s play area is open and should be supervised by one member of the family.
