Chocolate Tastings

Experience the unique flavour combinations and incredible texture of the international award-winning Velvet Truffles as Iain introduces you to the world of artisan gourmet truffles. In this audio-guided gourmet chocolate tasting flight of five chocolates, you will learn about the difference between gourmet chocolate and others, what makes São Tomé cocoa so special, how Iain chooses his ingredients, and how to identify the amazing flavour profiles in each chocolate. A truly unique and memorable experience!

The Chocolate Lounge

Chocolate Lounge offers a menu of cakes, small savoury snacks and drinks – all with an emphasis on chocolate, of course! Try the award-winning hot chocolate – Best in Europe – as well as a selection of coffees made by our highly-trained, dedicated and friendly barista team who will make your visit a memorable one. Indulge in a delicious range of cakes & goodies, including gluten free options & sample Iain’s famous Velvet Truffles – Best in the World at the International Chocolate Awards (twice!).

The Chocolate Shop & Gift Showroom

Round off the perfect day out and choose your perfect selection of Iain’s award-winning chocolates from the mesmorising chocolate cabinet. Browse the magical gift showroom – an Aladdin’s Cave of greetings cards, gifts, games, jewellery, fashion and homewares.

The Chocolate Exhibition

The Chocolate Exhibition is a small, free multi-media exhibition that adds knowledge and experience to your visit. Visitors take a journey through chocolate history, cocoa processing methods and little known facts about chocolate. Learn more about the distinct difference between gourmet and mass produced chocolate. There is an opportunity to watch dedicated chocolatiers in action most weekdays while in production, through a large glass viewing window.

From the nearest information centre:- We are 5 miles from the Tourist Information Centre in Aberfeldy and 9 miles from the Tourist Information Centre in Pitlochry. Arriving by car:- We are a 5 minute drive from the A9 at Ballinluig, situated on the A827 on route to Aberfeldy. Arriving by bus:- Stagecoach service 23 between Perth and Aberfeldy stops just outside our front door. Arriving by train:- 9 miles from Pitlochry train station.
