Look out for Lemur Heights, Otter Falls, Meerkat Mansion and the mighty Macaw Kingdom.
Wander the wilderness walkthrough with wallabies and agouti, bird hide and wildlife ponds and follow the nature trail to the woodland walk. There’s so much more to spot around the park, from birds of prey, marmoset monkeys and chipmunks to red squirrels, porcupines and giant tortoises!
Feed the friendly residents of the Farm Barn and Guinea Pig Village! The otter fish feeding pots are a bite sized fun way to meet the otter family. Gather the troops for the new exclusive lemur feeding experience available for up to 6 people!*
*Their animal feed bundles, nectar pots, otter fish pots and Lemur feeding experiences are available to purchase on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability.
Every day’s a tropical adventure! Go wild in the playparks where kids can zip, slide and scale the realms of Camelot, dig their sandpits and dip, duck and dive in the splash zone!
The Dino Trail will have you quaking in your boots, grab a selfie with their roarsome dinosaurs or make a discovery of your own at the Dino Dig!
Eat at Lottie’s Coffee Lounge and enjoy their cosy indoor seating or picturesque outdoor patio with dining pods serving delicious hot and cold drinks and food, from panini’s and pizza to afternoon tea! Park entry not required.  The Big Red Bus Snack Stop is open at weekends (subject to weather conditions) or enjoy the outdoor picnic areas.
They are bringing wildlife closer to home. Did you know a % of your admission goes towards helping them to preserve native species across the region – so every visit is helping local wildlife too!
Their 3 conservation sites in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire cover 46.6 acres of land with a sole aim to protect and manage native habitats and species.
The park is fully accessible (apart from one viewing platform in the tropical house) and has free car parking.  Pre-booked school and group visits are welcome. They offer Animal Adoptions, Experiences and Gift Vouchers. Grab a gift or memento in the Jungle Gift Shop!
See for the opening times, prices and to book and plan your visit.
We understand our visitors have differing concerns regarding Covid-19. We therefore encourage visitors to continue to wear masks or face coverings in all indoor areas of the park unless exempt. We also ask visitors to be mindful of others by keeping a safe distance from each other and to regularly wash and sanitise their hands.
As a small centre, the health and safety of our visitors, staff and animals is paramount. As space and car parking facilities are limited, to ensure our visitors have a safe and pleasant experience we will continue to operate at a reduced capacity and require all visitors to book in advance online and a 3hour stay will remain in place for the time being.
We will need everyone to book online prior to their visit, including members and carers.
Whilst we are unable to feature our usual activity programme of talks and displays, we hope to reintroduce some encounters as soon as we can – please see our website and social pages for updates. We recommend purchasing animal feed bundles, otter fish pots or a lemur feeding experience as a great way to get closer to our animals in the meantime.
