On Sunday 14th September NASAM is once again proud to host its Battle of Britain Day at Flixton.
In honour of this event we’re expecting a flypast from a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fighter. As always we have to let you know that these flypasts are subject to the British Weather and to the serviceability of the display aircraft so no guarantees but fingers crossed!
The Museum site will be fully open as usual from 10am through to 4pm, with all the aircraft, cockpits and equipment displays, the 446th, Air Sea Rescue, Bomber Command and the refurbished Royal Observer Corps buildings all open to view, and Museum Volunteers on hand to explain the thousands of aviation related items that make up the Museum Collection.
The NAAFI cafe will be open for the serious business of tea (or coffee) and cake, and the shop will be offering a wide range of aviation related goodies to suit all pockets to help you make the most of your day.
