This September, Nuclear Adventures is bringing together adventure, courage and our local community for a special Charity Day in support of Little Havens Hospice.
Our Bravery for Bravery fundraiser invites families, friends, businesses and groups from across Essex to take on the High Ropes and Zip Trek while helping raise vital funds for the children, young people and families supported by Little Havens.
Whether you’re ready to face a fear of heights, bring the family for an unforgettable day out or simply want to support an incredible local charity, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
Book an activity, bring your friends and family, or make a donation and help us turn bravery into something even bigger.
WHY WE’RE SUPPORTING LITTLE HAVENS
Little Havens is the only children’s hospice in Essex, providing specialist palliative care, respite stays and end-of-life care for babies, children and young people up to the age of 19.
Their care is completely free for families, but it costs more than £10,000 every day to keep the hospice running. The money raised helps provide essential nursing care and pain relief, respite for parents and carers, bereavement support and creative therapies for children and their families.
Nuclear Adventures wants to support this local charity and help to make a difference to local people.
WHAT IS BRAVERY FOR BRAVERY?
Taking your first step onto a high ropes course can require a surprising amount of courage. So can stepping off a platform, flying through the trees on a zip wire or encouraging a nervous friend to keep going.
But it’s a very different kind of bravery from that shown every day by the children, young people and families supported by Little Havens.
That’s the idea behind Bravery for Bravery: challenging ourselves while raising money for those facing challenges far greater than anything we’ll encounter on the course.
TAKE ON NUCLEAR ADVENTURES FOR LITTLE HAVENS
On 27th September, we’re inviting you to join us at Nuclear Adventures in Kelvedon Hatch, near Brentwood, to take on some of our biggest challenges.
You could tackle our High Ropes, featuring more than 70 aerial obstacles, experience our 500m woodland Zip Trek, or test your nerve on the 50ft Big Drop.
You don’t need to be an adrenaline junkie to take part. Come with your children, challenge your friends, get a group together or turn it into a team-building day with your colleagues.
It’s about having fun, challenging yourself and knowing that your day out is helping support families across Essex.
Your ticket makes a difference – 100% of profits above staffing and operational costs from the Charity Day will be donated to Little Havens.
So simply by booking your Nuclear Adventures experience for the day, you’ll be helping us raise money.
