Chill Factore brings the festival spirit to the slopes!
16th August 2017
Summer At Chill is a scorching three-week calendar of FREE events, coupled with amazing deals on the snow, helping you stay ice-cool when the mercury starts rising. Running from 12th August to 3rd September, it’s the place where thrill seekers, shape throwers, design lovers and cool kids, teenagers and adults will want to be seen.
Where to start... Our action-packed programme includes incredibly epic and diverse events for all ages, including UV Ping Pong, an eight-lane Giant Scalextric, yoga disco, jungle boogie, jewellery making, tote bag lino printing, and a pop-up cinema showing the hilarious Cool Runnings film, complete with a snow machine.
Every Friday, why not come and try out our Virtual Ski Experience – the perfect way to test your skills before you hit the slope! From the 17th to the 23rd August, we will also play host to our first ever all ages Ball Mania – a ball pit with up to 400,000 balls. It's sure to bring out the big kid in you.
And if that wasn’t enough, we have a street food market in Alpine Village every Friday and Saturday. You’ll be able to treat your taste buds to Indian street food classics, mac n’ cheese, vegan treats, and there’ll be craft beer too.
Morwenna Angove, Chill Factore CEO, says, “We’re really excited to host this incredible festival which will guarantee an even greater fun filled day out for families at Chill Factore. Keeping the kids entertained during the holidays can be tricky, however Summer At Chill promises to keep everyone happy all summer, alongside our existing offering on real snow.”
If that doesn’t already set your pulse racing, throughout this period Chill Factore Snow Park is just £10 per person (normally £25), offering a thrilling afternoon for all the family in real snow. Families can enjoy a whole hour in The Snow Park, taking on the Downhill Donuts, Luge Slip ‘N’ Slide, Sledge ‘O’ Mania and Snow Luge – all on real snow! Still not ready to go home?
