Join the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks to celebrate the wonders of our skies and explore two incredible International Dark Sky Reserves at the peak of the stargazing season.

The North York Moors is one of only 25 locations in the world to be recognised for its pristine, dark skies.

It is an International Dark Sky Reserve, awarded by DarkSky (formerly the International Dark-Sky Association).

Get prepared for your star-studded visit to North Yorkshire, with an excellent selection of stargazing, walking and family-friendly events, all designed to help you enjoy the dark skies.
