Bishop & Miller Valuation Day at Stody Gardens

Stody Lodge Gardens, Norfolk, NR24 2ER

26th May 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Stody Lodge Gardens has teamed up with local auction house and antique valuers, Bishop & Miller, to host an “Antiques Roadshow” style event on Sunday 26th May.

The team of Bishop & Miller specialists will offer free valuations of small, portable items such as paintings, jewellery, watches, silverware, medals, coins, ceramics and textiles.

The Bishop & Miller team can advise across a vast array of subjects including silverware, jewellery, clocks, watches, paintings including East Anglian art, Asian and Oriental art, coins, medals, ceramics, textiles and small pieces of furniture.

Anyone curious for a valuation is encouraged to bring portable items to see what it might be worth – we are sure to discover some treasures!

Please note: if you are bringing an item for valuation, that this is at your own risk and neither Stody Lodge Gardens nor Bishop & Miller can be held responsible for theft or damage. Please make sure you can carry the items yourself and that you leave them locked in your vehicle once they have been valued.

On Sunday 26th, all proceeds from the tea rooms will be in aid of Priscilla Bacon Hospice – a charity that provides palliative care services in Norfolk. Don’t miss out on this wonderful day of antiques, stunning gardens and delicious tea and cake!

The full 14-acres of Stody Lodge’s renowned rhododendron gardens are at visitors’ disposal alongside admiring the wonderful antiques that are being valued on the main lawn. There is good disabled access to most areas of the gardens. Dogs on leads are welcome and there is a plant stall by Edgefield Nurseries.
