Enchanted Fairy Forest at the Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park

Woodsetts Road, North Anston, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S25 4EQ

23rd - 31st May

Dust off your wings and sharpen your goblin ears for a fairytale adventure brimming with mischief and mythical creatures!

New for 2026, the park unveils the Gnome Zone, a new indoor fairy hideaway located deep inside the Butterfly House and full of family-friendly activities for your little pixies to explore and play!

Journey along a woodland walk of wonders peering through a miniature world of fairytale windows and doors to discover tiny dwellings and fiery dragons on the path to the White Witch’s Cottage. But be warned, visitors must keep a close eye on their feet as the resident ‘Troblin’ (half-troll, half-goblin) known as Tricky, has a notorious reputation for stealing socks! Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Young adventurers can pick up an Enchanted Trail stamp book to hunt for mystical characters – can you spot a fairy, goblin or even a unicorn hidden in the wildlife park. Those completing their magical quest can claim a sweet treat reward.

Join Tricky the troblin and his pal, Chomper the dragon for some fairy frolics and spellbinding giant bubble fun in the arena!

Wear your wings! Dress to impress in your best fairy finery or goblin gear for a chance to win spot prizes! Show off your artistic magic in an Enchanted Fairy Forest colouring competition and keep an eye out for ‘toadstool treasure’ with special prize-winning fairy toadstools scattered throughout the park!

The magic continues with daily adventures including amazing animal encounters and keeper talks. Look up to the skies to catch magnificent free-flying macaws during spectacular bird training sessions.

Conquer the Realms of Camelot, cool off in the splash zone and sandpits, fly down the zipwire or race around the track. Brave the Dino Trail to dig for fossils or hop on a tractor-trailer ride!

Got hungry goblins? The Butterfly Café and Lottie’s Coffee Lounge will be open serving up magical treats, themed afternoon teas and delicious hot and cold food and drinks!

Share the Magic! Capture your ‘spriteful’ selfies and tag the park for a chance to win a Family Explorer Day Pass! #tropicalbutterflyhouse #mybutterflymoment #enchantedfairyforest
