Summer Proms at Fort Amherst

Returning for 2026 - our community live music event.

Every Sunday from 12th July -30th August Fort Amherst, thanks to funding from Medway Council, will have live music in their Spur Battery Amphitheatre from 2pm – 4pm.

Standard entry fee is free (£3 parking charge will apply). You are welcome to bring a picnic. Food and drink will be available.

Alternatively reserve one of our picnic benches and we can bring the picnic to you!

Picnic includes baguette, with a selection of cheeses, meats, pate and chutneys, along with our homemade scones, clotted cream and jam, finished off with strawberries and cream and a bottle of Prosecco.

Gates open at 12:00. This is family friendly event and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. We reserve the right to refuse entry.

There is limited parking close to the Amphitheatre at £3 per vehicle however once this is full you will need to use our payable main car park adjacent to the Cannon Cafe.
